TIDE GUARD ERICKA RUSSELL
The 2009-2010 season came to an end for the University OF Alabama Women's basketball team with an opening round 73-66 loss to Georgia at the SEC TOURNAMENT Thursday night in Deluth, GA. The tide lost the contest despite a career high 30 Points scored by Guard Ericka Russell. The tide finished the year 12-18 4-13 in SEC play. The team did improve in league play this season and the season included a two game season sweep of Florida and a home win over Auburn. The teams most talented player and Leading scorer Ericka Russell will be ruturning next season as a junior.
